Terry Pratchett continues to be something of a phenomenon in the fantasy genre, with Discworld being his most recognised series of books. Forty-one novels were written, set on the fictional Discworld where the flat planet is balanced on the backs of four Elephants, which in turn stand on the back of a giant Turtle. Terry Pratchett's Vinyl Discworld is a 15LP vinyl audio book box set featuring seven classic stories.
This was a project of epic proportions. The outer box is printed on mirror board with Pantone gold detailing throughout the package, and each title features heavyweight white and gold 'disc-swirl' vinyl. The inner sleeves fit together as a patchwork to form a huge map of the Discworld sat atop of the giant turtle flying through space. Also included is an original illustrated portrait of Terry Pratchett himself. This project was a true team effort, where myself and the Dan "The Man" Anscombe illustrated our little butts off!
